Last night I had a fight with a taxi driver here in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. He refused to bring me to my destination just because the road is not good.He took a metal bar and want to hit me because I refused to pay him unless I am in my place. I shouted to get the attention of the people around us, only then he stopped chasing me.
These taxi drivers in Batha-2nd Industrial route have lots of bad practice. They refuse the passenger unless you pay more.Instead of a regular four pasengers (1 in front, 3 at the back) they will put 4 passengers at the back to get more money, even its uncomfortable to the passengers. Sometimes you will get a taxi driver that will smoke cigarette while all the windows are close.I am not saying that all of them are bad,for sure some them are educated enough, good enough to care for the passenger. Just be careful, check the register number of the taxi, observed the driver's behavior while driving, and if he is acting like a madman, call the police or call the attention of the people nearby.
