Pricing Out Flights and Budget Airlines in Latin America
Which Web sites do you use to fly to Central and South America? There are a lot of budget airlines in Europe that sell flights for as little as 10 euros. Is there anything like that in Central/South America?
Craig's Response:
I'm a huge fan of using Kayak.com when planning international flights. I also tend to hit up a local travel agent or two to see what kind of airlines and prices they can offer me, and sometimes use that information to buy tickets directly from the airline. Sometimes a travel agent has access to cheaper fares than what I'm finding online, and often times they have access to flight data for airlines that don't participate in aggregators like Kayak (this is especially true when you're flying within Central or South America, and not from or to an overseas destination).
No, sadly there are no consistent 10 euro flight deals floating around in this part of the globe. Sometimes there will be a new airline (or an existing one flying into a new destination) that will offer discount rates, but the Ryanair business model hasn't found a home in Latin America.
Travel safe,

Why don't you take a look at dohop.com. You'll probably find your cheap flights there, as well as info on airlines that fly to cities in Latin America. One of the most comprehensive travel info pages I've come across.
