Information about anthropology in the Philippines.

Anthropology is the science of humanity, intersecting the study of natural science and humanities. Anthropology studies human beings in aspects ranging from the biology and evolutionary history of Homo sapiens, to the features of society and culture that decisively distinguish humans from other animal species.

Because of the diverse subject matter it encompasses, anthropology has become a collection of more specialized fields: Physical anthropology, cultural anthropology (or ethnology), social anthropology, linguistic anthropology, psychological anthropology, and archeology.

I understand that there was a cave on Palawan where a series of bones were found and they were considered to be the same as Peking Man. I don't quite see how that can be unless they are a homo erectus derivitive. Do you know some thing about this?
Thank you Al Collins
