Electric Water Pitcher
An interesting sight: Water pitchers with plugs.
Commonly found at supermarkets for around US$10, these electric water pitchers are used to boil water for coffee or boil water for purposes of purification.

Curious - had you really never seen an electric kettle before? I had thought they were common! At least they are in Canada!

I have really never seen a plastic, electric water pitcher/kettle before! Yes, the large U.S. varieties for cooking or keeping coffee warm, but never these light, plastic pitchers with an electrical plug coming out of them.

these kettles are very common in europe as well, seen them in africa… there are variants with less capacity, might be useful for travelers to prepare drinks and food and boil drinking water perhaps… and are of simple design and usage
