Compact European Washing Machine

A compact European Whirlpool washing machine, found in the village of Chmeľová, Slovakia.

It can be rather hard to rotate the slippery drum when there are a lot of damp clothes in it after a wash, but it spins so fast you'd swear Lockheed Martin was testing a new type of jet engine in the same room.

I spent an hour trying to decipher the generally obscure control icons with both trial and error, and Internet searches. Finally, I found the dusty owner's manual tucked beneath the machine.
